Summer Reading 2025
Nicole DeAngelis

 ROBERT E. MELICAN MIDDLE SCHOOL

2025 - 2026 SUMMER READING

Reading done during the summer, like all reading experiences, enhances your development as a student and as a lifelong learner. Over the summer, you are encouraged to select books of your own choosing, or you may use the suggested author list from the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for English Language Arts and Literacy included below. To access books, consider using the Northborough Public Library or the Sora app. You are required to read at least one book over the summer.

Use the Google Form link to record all of your summer reading and complete a reflection on your favorite book. Your new ELA teacher is excited to learn about what you have read over the summer and is looking forward to working with you in the new school year!
